I'm writing to you, uncle Harold
Though you're one I never knew
To tell you that your love of poems
Was passed to me from you.
I'm well aware you know me not
For I was very young
That day the angels called your name
And beckoned you to come.
Your sister Mary's oldest girl-
They often call me Lynn-
For it is I who writes these words
